CODE OF CONDUCT

To ensure a disciplined, respectful, and academically conducive environment, all students enrolled at Easyway German Language School are required to adhere strictly to the following rules and conduct expectations. Violation of these guidelines may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, expulsion, or arrest by the Nigerian Police Force or the Nigerian Army as stipulated.

1. Dress Code

• All students must dress decently and appropriately while on school premises.
• Indecent dressing, including revealing clothing, offensive slogans, or attire deemed inappropriate by the school administration, will not be tolerated.
• Penalty: First offense receives a warning. Subsequent infractions may lead to suspension or expulsion, depending on severity.

2. Disputes and Physical Violence

• Any altercation, physical assault, combat, or aggressive contact between students is strictly prohibited.
• In the event of a dispute escalating into physical violence, both the aggressor and the aggresse will be arrested by the Nigerian Police Force or the Nigerian Army for legal action.
• Based on the judgment of the authorities, the aggressor will be immediately expelled from the school without any refund.
• Penalty: Police or Military arrest and immediate expulsion (for aggressor). Legal implications as judged by law enforcement.

3. Noise and Verbal Altercations

• Loud arguments, shouting, or disruptive conversations within the premises are prohibited.
• First offense results in an official, non-official or verbal warning
• Second offense leads to a strike.
• Third offense results in immediate expulsion without refund.
• Any form of resistance or physical reaction against the decision will result in arrest by the Nigerian Police Force.

4. Substance Abuse

• The possession, use, or distribution of alcohol, drugs, or any banned substances is strictly forbidden within school premises.
• Penalty: Immediate expulsion without refund and handover to the Police, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) or appropriate authorities.

5. Respect for Staff and Fellow Students

• All students must maintain respectful and courteous behavior toward tutors, staff, and fellow students at all times.
• Use of abusive, threatening, or derogatory language is prohibited.
• Penalty: Depending on severity, verbal warning, written warning, suspension, or expulsion without refund.

6. Destruction or Theft of Property

• Vandalism, theft, or damage of any kind to the school’s property or a fellow student’s belongings is prohibited.
• Penalty: Full compensation for damages, suspension, or expulsion. Severe cases may result in police involvement.

7. Attendance and Participation

• All students are expected to attend classes regularly and participate actively.
• Consistent absenteeism without valid reason (3 or more unexcused absences per month) may lead to administrative review and possible expulsion.

8. Other Misconduct

• Easyway Language School reserves the right to determine and penalize any future behaviour deemed disruptive, unsafe, or unfit for the learning environment.
• Penalty: Based on the severity, actions may include warnings, strikes, suspension, expulsion, or law enforcement involvement.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By enrolling at Easyway German Language School, all students agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Punctuality

• Students must arrive on time for all classes.
• Tutors are not obligated to recap for latecomers or drag the class backward due to individual tardiness.
• A student consistently marked as a latecomer (3 times or more per week) may be denied further entry into class for that day.

2. Payment Terms

• Tuition and related fees must be paid in full or as agreed in the installment plan approved by the administration.
• Late payments may attract a penalty or restriction from classes until settlement.

3. Refund Policy

• No refunds will be granted for students expelled due to disciplinary issues or those who voluntarily withdraw after the course has commenced.

4. Classroom Behavior

• Phones must be kept on silent or off during lectures unless used for academic purposes with permission.
• Eating or engaging in non-academic activities during lectures is prohibited.

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

At Easyway Language School, we have set forth a detailed and comprehensive payment and refund policy to ensure clarity and smooth transactions for all our clients and students. Please note that the following policies have been designed to maintain order and fairness.

1. 1. General Payment Policy: All payments for tuition, travel packages, and related services must be made in full at the time of registration Easyway Language School reserves the right to alter or amend fees al any time with prior ◦ notice. ◦ Students are required to settle the full fee for the language class before starting a course or package unless otherwise stated.
2. Installment Payment Option: For students unable to make full payments, a minimum of 70% of the tuition fee must be paid at registration. The remaining balance must be settled by the end of the fourth week of the course. e ◦ Failure to comply with payment deadlines may result in the suspension of class attendance. ◦ In cases of fee increases between partial payments, students will be required to pay the newly adjusted balance.
3. Penalties for Non-Payment: Non-compliance with payment terms may result in cancellation of classes or services. ◦ Easyway Language School reserves the right to impose penalties on defaulters, including, halting classes and services. ◦ Persistent defaulters may face further sanctions as deemed appropriate by the institution.
4. 4. Refund Policy for Classes: A refund will be issued for services we are unable to provide, subject to specific conditions outlined below. Refunds will be processed at the end of a full calendar month or lunar cycle. Refunds are provided only in the-Nigerian local currency and converted at the exchange rate applicable at the time of initial payment, provided the payment was made in an international currency.

Terms for Class Registration Refund: If a client registers for classes but does not attend any sessions within a month and demands for a refund, a full refund is available ○ Clients who attends more than one week of classes before withdrawing will not be refunded. No refunds will be granted if more than one week of classes have been attended before withdrawal. ◦ Refunds for class fees will be in naira, and the exchange rate applicable at the time of the initial payment will be used for payments made in foreign currencies.
6. Travel Package Refund Policy: If a candidate withdraws within the first week of payment for the language class associated with the travel package, a 100% refund will be issued, as these first week is considered a free trial period.

No refunds for the language class associated with the travel package will be issued after the first week ◦ If a candidate makes payment of the second installment of the travel package, but does not proceed with interviews or applications within the first 3-4 working days, a full refund of this installment will be processed If a refund request is made after five days of payment, only a partial refund may be available due to transactions made with our partners. ◦ In cases where Easyway Language School unable to secure a job offer in Germany for the candidate, a full refund of the travel package fee (excluding the official first installment that includes the training fee, examination fee and travel documentation fee) will be issued, provided the candidate made a complete payment of the whole package. If the language training is completed, the job interview is done, employment is secured and the visa is ready, no refunds will be issued unless the full travel package payment is made. Fees for Goethe German exams are subject to change. Any increase in exam fees from the Goethe Institute will be borne by the student. All candidates must make available at hand payment for the Job offer before proceeding for “the German job interview.

7. Additional Policies: Refunds for travel packages will not include costs associated with cost of other services that have already been rendered. In the case of a delay in visa issuance or cancellation of travel by a candidate, Easyway Language School is not responsible for any third-party charges incurred. ◦ The institution reserves the right to change or amend the terms of service, including pricing, as it deems necessary. ◦ Cancellation of class registration or travel packages must be done through written notice to the administration.
8. Compliance and Signature: Py signing, you acknowledge and agree to the payment and refund policies outlined by Easyway Language School.
